Do you need help finding resources in La Pine, Sunriver, Gilchrist and Crescent?

My name is Kathy Matthews, and I welcome you to this website especially designed for those of us who live in La Pine, Sunriver, Gilchrist and Crescent. It is intended to outline the community resources available to Southern Deschutes County and Northern Klamath County. There is some info on Northern Lake County also included. It is not sponsored by anybody but me.

Please click on the different page links on the top of the page to find the help you need in each subject matter. Resources for Seniors, Veterans and those with Disabilities are located at the bottom of this page.

The sidebar is full of information, please take a few minutes to acquaint yourself with all that is on there. Especially helpful, at the top of the sidebar, are links to employment in our area.

There are also 100's more resource links at the very bottom of the page for the whole Central Oregon area ... just click on each box to find out more about each agency and the resource links they have posted. I have also concentrated information for those with disabilities along with those links.

My goal is to pull out and organize applicable information for our end of the county. Of course, we may have to travel to Bend or Redmond for some things, but it is also nice to know what is offered right here at home.

* Saturday Market in La Pine is held on the 4th Saturday of each month. This month it is on August 22nd, at the La Pine Feed and Pet Supply (the old Hooker Creek Rental building) from 10:00 - 3:00. Spaces cost $10.
